Carpet workers to join ISTC

The Power Loom Carpet Weavers and Textile Workers Union, with 1,300

members, is to merge with the ISTC community union. The ISTC, formerly

the iron and steel union, now organises in all industries in areas where

there are or were steel and metalworking companies.
