NAPO election
Jonathan Ledger, the assistant general secretary of probation staff union NAPO, will replace Judy McKnight as leader when she retires in June. McKnight has been general secretary of the union since 1993. Ledger won a four-cornered election after receiving a 49% share of the total vote. He beat second placed Harry Fletcher, also an assistant general secretary, by 1,089 votes to 929.
