On target at OCS

OCS cleaners working on the Eurostar contract are set to achieve the RMT rail union’s “interim objective” of £8 an hour by this autumn. A series of incremental increases will see this rate achieved by November, from the current minimum pay rate of £7.40.

The agreement came after what the union described as a “hard fought recruitment and organising campaign” and a mandate for industrial action.

Bob Crow, general secretary said “RMT is not stopping here” and will continue to build the organisation and strength to win justice on pay and conditions.
