Contracts - the key developments

The key factor distinguishing an apprenticeship agreement from an ordinary employment contract is that the employee receives training, aimed at reaching a particular skill level, provable by a recognised qualification. The fact that a worker does no unsupervised work also points strongly to a relationship of apprenticeship (case 6).
