Work-life balance is problem for women

More than a third of UK women do not think they can pursue a career and fulfil their personal responsibilities, a study has found.

The Kenexa Research Institute, a division of the global business solutions company Kenexa, asked 1,000 people about their work-life balance.

The study also found that only a slim majority (56%) of women said their company supports employees’ efforts to balance work and family or personal responsibilities.

Women are more likely to have a better work-life balance when their stress level at work is reasonable and they are encouraged to participate in decision-making at work.
