CWU campaigner wins national award

Dave Joyce, health and safety officer at the Communication Workers Union (CWU), received this year’s Achiever of the Year award at an Institute of Occupational Safety and Health awards ceremony.

Joyce was nominated for his role in developing the successful CWU Bite-Back campaign to change the Dangerous Dogs Act and to address the thousands of attacks on postal workers and telecoms engineers by dogs.
