Migrant deaths


One of Spain’s two main union confederations, the CCOO, has called on the country’s government to provide greater human and material resources to save the lives of migrants making the dangerous crossing by sea from Morocco to Spain. 


It has also condemned the call by the Spanish interior minister, Juan Ignacio Zoido, to “make life impossible” for undocumented migrants.
