UNISON branch review

More online branch meetings, but with savings returned to branches, is one of 15 recommendations being put to representatives of the UNISON public services union following a major review of branch resources.

The union’s annual conference would remain a physical meeting, with the possibility of conferences being reorganised to achieve savings. The proposals will be put to delegates at the union’s national conference in the summer.

Other recommendations include a national procurement offer to branches to achieve economies of scale, enhanced bargaining support and a National Organising School.
