Appeal for asbestos case information

The family of a former plumber’s mate who died of mesothelioma is appealing for anyone who worked with him to contact them, lawyers Leigh Day report.

Edward Harris, who died aged 80 in 2019, worked stripping lagging from pipes in council houses in Barking and Dagenham in the 1960s.

Leigh Day, which now represents his widow, Mary Harris, would like to speak with other people who worked in council houses in the area during the 1960s who can provide further details about the use of asbestos lagging.
