How good is your job?

Apparently “job quality” has improved: 82% of UK employees work “satisfactory hours” (less than 48 a week, not under-employed); 13% are paid below two-thirds of median hourly pay; and less than 3% work on zero-hours contracts (higher for part-time or younger employees and in hospitality). Unpaid overtime is more commonly reported than paid overtime. Those most likely to have good career progression are men in London or those aged 25-44; employees with an undergraduate degree; and those in finance and insurance
