MU election

The 31,000 members of the Musicians’ Union are currently voting for a new general secretary to replace retiring Horace Trubridge.

They are choosing between three candidates — current deputy general secretary Naomi Pohl, PR and marketing official Keith Ames and lay member Stephen Brown.

The result will be announced soon after the ballot closes on 7 March.
