The UCU has questioned why senior managers are still in their jobs at Imperial College London following full publication of a report which found they had bullied staff and treated them with disrespect.

“Sadly, this systemic disregard of the dignity and wellbeing of staff by management is all too familiar across the university sector,” the union said. The first step towards redressing a culture of discrimination and intimidation is for senior management to be held properly to account, it added.
