HSE improves guidance on controlling risk

The HSE has improved the structure of its guidance to employers on what they must do to comply with health and safety law. This includes a brief new introductory guide to managing health and safety using the Plan, Do, Check, Act approach. A workplace health, safety and welfare website brings together guidance on legal duties in relation to, for example, ventilation, temperature, safety signs and emergency procedures for the first time. The guidance can be found on the HSE website.
