Parental provision

The Polish government is moving to significantly improve levels of parental leave in order to fulfil the terms of the EU’s work-life balance directive which should be introduced into national legislation by August this year.

The current 32 weeks’ parental leave is being extended by a further nine weeks, and pay levels are being improved. Employees will also gain new rights to work from home.
