Recognition wins

After a successful recruitment campaign, the PCS civil service union has won two union recognition agreements for security officers employed by G4S in the Cabinet Office and related sites, and the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.

The staff were previously employed by Mitie, who refused to recognise the union voluntarily, leaving the union to take the statutory route.
