PCS activists’ forum

The PCS public and commercial services union is trialling a new forum to increase activist involvement in the union’s activities, especially from newer activists. The aim is to encourage discussion of the union’s strategies without replicating established committees or conferences.

The idea came from a 2021 PCS conference motion calling on the union to “review ways of raising membership participation in the democratic life of the union including establishing a new National Activists’ Forum, with virtual meetings to be held regularly during the year”.
