Alliance calls for right to rehab law

The Right to Rehab coalition, which includes the CSP physiotherapists’ union, is demanding that access to rehabilitation is recognised as a human right in law and included in the Scottish government’s proposed human rights bill.

“There is no right to health without rehabilitation,” said CSP public affairs and policy manager for Scotland, Kenryck Lloyd-Jones. “It’s just as important as surgery and medication for healthcare. Rehabilitation can be the key to helping people get back to work or doing the things they love.”
