P&O-style scandal could happen again

Another P&O Ferries-style scandal could be on the cards due to government inaction, the TUC has warned.

Marking the anniversary of the unlawful mass sacking of 800 seafarers a year ago on 17 March, a new TUC report shows the government has failed to act on all four ways the company broke the law. It has failed to punish the company and strengthen worker protections.

Maritime unions RMT and Nautilus International held a week of action to mark the anniversary and demand action.
