Eurostar pays 8%

RMT members at Eurostar International (EIL) have accepted an 8% pay deal that includes a significant improvement in maternity leave (see page 15).

Paid out in stages, the minimum increase will be £3,900 and the maximum £6,400, applied as 3% on basic rates and allowances from May 2022, 3% from September 2022, and 2% from December 2022.

There is also an increase in the “home to work” allowance to £3,500 for those in front line roles and £2,500 for workers able to work flexibly. The company section of the Railways Pension Scheme (RPS) remains “open” with EIL to cover the deficit of £47.6 million, with no additional cost to employees.
