Health and safety strategy
The European Commission, the EU’s civil service, has agreed a new strategic framework on health and safety at work for the period 2021-2027.
It identifies three priorities: dealing with the changes produced by the move to a greener economy, increased digitalisation, shifts in Europe’s demography and changes to the traditional work environment; improving the prevention of accidents and illnesses; and increasing preparedness for potential future crises like Covid.
