HSENI calls on employers to prevent MSDs

The HSENI health and safety executive for Northern Ireland has urged employers in the haulage and logistics sector to make a New Year resolution to help prevent MSDs within their workforce as it launched a new on-site inspection programme.

The programme will run until the end of March 2023, with inspectors looking specifically at the controls employers have in place to manage the risks associated with moving and handling. They will also provide employers with information and advice.
