PCS election
The Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) has embarked on the process of electing a new leader to replace retiring Mark Serwotka, who has been in post since 2000.
Nominations close later this month and voting opens on 9 November.
Names in the frame so far include current president Fran Heathcote, and Marion Lloyd, president in the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) Group.
There will be a simultaneous election for assistant general secretary, which has been brought forward a year to coincide with the leadership ballot. Current incumbent John Maloney is re-standing.
