Employment appeals checklist

The Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) has devised a new guide.

The Checklist for lodging an appeal in the Employment Appeal Tribunal against a decision of the Employment Tribunal is designed to assist those intending to lodge appeals.

It is meant as an addition to the EAT Rules and Practice Direction, which set out how appeals must be lodged.

The EAT recognises even experienced practitioners can make mistakes lodging appeals. It is likely to be of most use to unrepresented people and union reps will want to be aware of it.
