UCU general secretary election

UCU university and college union leader Jo Grady will be facing three challengers for her position when voting gets underway in that union’s general secretary election later this month. Grady was first elected in 2019 and faces re-election under the law.

Her opponents are former UCU president Vicky Blake and lay members Ewan McGaughey and Saira Weiner. All hail from the university sector.

The ballot opens on 25 January and closes on 1 March.
