Cooperative Party

The Cooperative Party - sister party to Labour - says it saw a membership growth of almost a fifth between 2019 and 2022 - more than any other political party.

The party's analysis showed that its membership in that time rose by 19.5%, from 11,040 to 13,194, the LabourList website reported. In the same period, Conservative Party membership grew by 7.5% and Labour's fell by 23.4%.

Cooperative Party general secretary Joe Fortune said that "people are buying into our co-operative vision for the country".
