BFAWU/Momentum


The BFAWU food union, which is affiliated to the Labour Party, has agreed to affiliate to campaign group Momentum. 


The tie-up came after the two groups worked together on the first ever British strike at McDonald’s. A Momentum-produced video, which showed staff at the fast food chain describing their injuries, reached one in four of McDonald’s 97,000 workers in Britain, according to the union.
