Musicians’ Union

Members of the Musicians’ Union have voted by three to one to retain the union’s political fund. The turnout was 17%.

The union is affiliated to the Labour Party and just under half of the fund is currently spent on that.

However, the union has told members it may have to change the way they register their support for the Labour Party in the light of the Party’s recently agreed constitutional changes (see Labour Research, March 2014, page 7).
