PCS Election recommendation


The national executive of the PCS public services union has agreed to recommend that its members in England and Wales vote Labour in the likely early general election, following a policy adopted at its 2018 annual conference.


However, it is to issue separate guidance to members in Scotland and Northern Ireland where, it says, “the political situation is different and the choices less binary”. 


Nevertheless, the union is calling for a government led by Jeremy Corbyn to replace the current Westminster government.
