Spanish unions meet government


Leaders of Spain’s two main union confederations, CCOO and UGT, and the main employers’ associations, have held a meeting with Magdalena Valerio, the labour minister in the country’s new minority socialist government. 


She expressed the hope that it would be possible to achieve “social and political consensus” through agreement.
