Workplace mediators

The CWU communications union is working with Royal Mail to improve industrial relations by recruiting members to be workplace mediators.

Five CWU members and five Royal Mail managers will work as mediators to “encourage and facilitate open and honest dialogue between the parties involved” and, in the process, raise awareness, understanding and empathy.

Successful applicants will go on a six-day training course to obtain a National Certificate in Workplace Mediation.
