UCATT recognition at Norse
Construction union UCATT has signed a national recognition agreement with Norse Commercial Services. The company employs over 8,300 staff in building services roles, including cleaning, building and grounds maintenance, transport and environmental services; over two-thirds of them are based in Norfolk and Suffolk.
The union says the agreement covers employment standards across all UK sites, including the clients’ premises. It includes a commitment to TUPE rights for staff transferring from other contractors and local authorities, acceptance of union membership and “shared objectives regarding long-term success and employee security of employment”.
