Gatwick bus deal


Unite members employed by Omni-Serv to drive “airside” buses at Gatwick Airport have secured an improved pay offer from the company after voting to take strike action. 


The strike ballot came after the company had a made a 0% pay offer for 2017, following three years of pay freezes. 


Unite members returned a 100% yes vote for strike action. The union also increased its membership from 46 to 71 during the balloting process, forcing the bus firm to make a revised offer of a two-year pay deal worth 5% plus a £600 non-consolidated lump sum.
