Experiences of Public Sector Equality Duty

The government has decided to review the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) in line with its “strong desire to reduce unnecessary bureaucracy where it exists and consider alternatives to legislation”.

The TUC is working to preserve the duty. It has asked the Labour Research Department to help gather evidence from union reps in the public sector about their experience of the PSED and its predecessor equality duties.
