McCluskey re-elected

Len McCluskey has been re-elected as the Unite general union’s general secretary for a further five years.

Almost two-thirds of members (64%) taking part in the election backed McCluskey; the remaining votes went to his sole opponent Jerry Hicks. The turnout was just over 15%.
