Inflation rate down again

Inflation fell for the sixth consecutive month, according to the Office for National Statistics. Under the Retail Prices Index (RPI), inflation was down to 3.6% in March from 3.7% in February.

However, under the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) — the measure used by the government — inflation rose to 3.5% in March from 3.4% the previous month.
