Movement Against Xenophobia

Formed in reaction to the anti-immigrant rhetoric and policies of political parties and the media, the Movement Against Xenophobia was launched with a conference in London in March.

The Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants acts as its secretariat, and supporters include the Unite general union nationally, a number of local union branches, a number of MPs, prominent anti-racist campaigners and migrant organisations.
