Pay gap reporting

Regulations imposing gender pay gap reporting requirements on public sector employers (in England and some non-devolved authorities in Great Britain) were due to come into force on 31 March 2017. Regulations affecting private and voluntary sector bodies are due to come into effect on 6 April.

Employers with at least 250 employees will have to publish annual information on their gender pay gap. They will have a year from the reporting date to publicise the data.
