Spanish unions protest


The two main Spanish union confederations, CCOO and UGT, continue to protest against the threat of a prison sentence hanging over two union representatives for their participation in a general strike in 2012. 


Rubén Ranz and José Manuel Nogales face action under sections of the criminal code, which have not been revised since the rule of the dictator Franco.
