Fatigue and shiftwork

The midwives’ RCM union has pledged its support for the Fight Fatigue campaign, which aims to raise awareness about the impact of fatigue and shiftwork on the NHS workforce.

The Association of Anaesthetists, Royal College of Anaesthetists and Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine launched the joint initiative last year following the death of a trainee anaesthetist who died while driving home tired after a night shift.
