Spanish unions fight labour law changes

Spain’s two main union confederations, CCOO and UGT, organised a series of demonstrations across the country last month to exert pressure on the negotiations on changes in labour law being conducted by the unions, employers and government.

The unions want to reverse all the changes introduced by the right-wing government in 2012 and accuse employers of blocking the talks.
