Underpaid wages

According to latest government figures around £6.3 million has been recovered in underpaid wages since the National Minimum Wage was introduced in 1999. On average applicants to tribunals have recovered around £370 each in wage arrears in cases where their employers were failing to pay the national minimum rate.
