MPs back building site safety motion

Over 100 MPs have signed an early day motion calling for action on construction safety. The motion highlights the deaths of seven building workers in one week in January and calls on the government to give the Health and Safety Executive the resources it needs to field the inspectors necessary to enforce health and safety laws and advise employers on good practice.
