Disability rights to be debated

The TUC is holding its annual disability conference at Congress House in London on Friday 14 July.

This year's agenda will examine the Disability Rights Commission, education, transport, supported employment and genetics and its significance for disabled people. There will also be an update on case law under the 1995 Disability Discrimination Act with examples of union involvement in settlements. The registration fee is £40 per delegate and delegates need to be registered by their union. Further information from Peter Purton at the TUC on 020 7467 1271.
