Hull employer in court over deaths

The Health and Safety Executive is prosecuting a property development company and its managing director following the deaths of three workers in Hull. Shaughan Walsh, David Jowett, and Anthony Laughton were all crushed by a collapsing wall. If found guilty the director could face a fine or custodial sentence. The victims' families and unions have organised a series of protests and marches calling on the government to introduce corporate killing legislation.
