Stress in banking

A survey by banking and finance union UNIFI has found epidemic levels of stress in the sector. The survey, published on National Stress Awareness day in November, found that 99% of UNIFI members in London and the South East said they sometimes feel stressed at work compared to 78% nationally. Some 85% of respondents believe the level of stress is having a negative impact on their home and family life and 82% believe it is having a negative impact on their working lives.
