Help for ethnic minority workers

Entertainment union BECTU is organising a series of workshops and one-to-one meetings to help ethnic minority workers make contacts with key players in the film and TV industry which could help further their careers. The opening session of "Move on up" was last month was chaired by TUC general secretary Brendan Barber, with presentations from the director general of the BBC, Greg Dyke, BECTU general secretary Roger Bolton and chair of the Commission for Racial Equality, Trevor Phillips.
