3% for LexisNexis editors

The NUJ journalists’ union has negotiated pay increases of at least 3% for 280 editorial staff at research and publishing firm LexisNexis’s UK Editorial Division – with the minimum editorial salary rising by more than 7%, from £21,000 to £22,500 a year.

The settlement, which took effect on 1 April, covers employees at LexisNexis’s London, Edinburgh and Croydon offices. In addition to the pay award, all staff may get a bonus of between £262 and £787.

The company has also agreed to negotiate policies to promote equal opportunities and combat discrimination, bullying and harassment.
