GNER - major boost to driver premium

The new agreement for drivers at rail company GNER will, from 7 January 2001, increase pensionable pay to £27,150 per annum plus a Professional Driver Premium (PDP) of £3,500 a year. From 1 April 2001 the PDP increases to £5,500 giving a total salary of £33,000 per annum.
