RadioLabour builds union solidarity

An internet-based audio news show has been developed in an effort to build national and international labour solidarity. The show, Solidarity News, is 20 minutes of news a week about workers and their organisations from around the world and is broadcast by RadioLabour.

The aim is not only to report news about unions using its own team of reporters, but also to encourage anyone related to the labour movement to contribute audio reports themselves. In June it will audiocast a daily report form the convention of the International Trade Union Confederation to be held in Canada. www.strongerunions.org/2010/02/03/radiolabour-%e2%80%93-presenting-labour%e2%80%99s-voices-to-the-world/
