Better paternity and sick leave negotiated

The April pay deal at Royal Mail Quadrant Catering improved both sick leave and paternity leave as part of a two-stage 18-month agreement. Payment of allowances on sick leave increased from four weeks to eight weeks while paternity leave increased from two weeks to four weeks at full pay. The pay deal itself gave an initial increase of 2% on all elements including overtime, all allowances and pay ranges. A second stage gives an additional 1.9% increase next month on all elements of pay.
